Wonton Salad
1⁄2 pkg wonton skins
vegetable oil
1 large head iceberg lettuce, torn
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 large tomato, cut into wedges
1 cucumber, sliced
3 carrots, shredded
Dressing:
1⁄3 cup sugar
1⁄3 vegetable oil
1⁄3 cup rice vinegar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp MSG (Accent!)
Cut wonton skins half lengthwise and fry in hot oil until crispy. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, green onions, tomato, cucumber and carrots. Combine dressing ingredients and toss with salad mixture. Add fried wontons just prior to serving.
